Dart Fresh / Goosemoor Foodservice was started as a wholesale fruit and vegetable merchant by Colin Dart as C.J. Dart Exeter. Geoff Pritchard joined the business one month later.

1957
1970
EXPAC was created by five local farmers, and we started supplying supermarkets. These included Tesco and Marks and Spencers.
1972
Supermarket supplies grew with produce being delivered including potatoes, swedes, white cabbage and cauliflower.
1978
Colin Dart took over EXPAC and merged it into the the Dart Fresh / Goosemoor Foodservice business.
1984
Geoff took the opportunity to run Dart Fresh and John Pritchard (his son) entered the business.
2012
John started to enhance the food service side of the business.
2014
After a chance conversation, the development of the Dart Fresh / Goosemoor Foodservice range began, with Steven Smith bringing a range of dry goods to the portfolio.
2017
Following considerable growth in the business, Dart Fresh / Goosemoor Foodservice became a Limited Company.
2019
Jamie (John’s son-in-law) joined the business to join John in running Dart Fresh / Goosemoor Foodservice.
2019
John and Jamie added a range of meat from the Westcountry with the help of Bryan Howard.
2020
Chris Gillard followed swiftly afterwards, bring a range of fine foods to Dart Fresh / Goosemoor Foodservice and helping to increase presence of Dart Fresh online with the assistance of Hayden Corby.
2020
Fish was the next addition to the range, with Phil ‘the fish’ Byrne joining the team.
2020
George (John’s son) stepped into his father’s footsteps, and grandfather’s before him, and came aboard to help steer the ship.
2021
The newest addition to the team is Rob Stevens, who has pioneered the new venture of ‘Educatering’ for Dart Fresh / Goosemoor Foodservice.
2022
Dart Fresh Produce Ltd was changed to Goosemoor Foodservice due to the business’ growth and diversification, allowing for specific companies to be created for the different arms of the business, such as Educatering.
